Suburban Finds
Throughout the streets of Los Angeles, furniture and personal heirlooms from homes are discarded randomly and with fleeting attachment. Often left for weeks in front of one’s home, these memories lay abandoned until they find a purpose either in the hands of a new caretaker or the depths of a landfill. I call this series Suburban Finds, a collection of photographs of possessions reflecting a legacy of the lives of the people who attracted, embraced, and bid farewell to these inanimate companions.
